December 2016 : AGX become the GB Labs "MOD Approved Reseller.

November 2016 : Kinesense saves the Police time and money.

As another major UK police force renews its KES licence ( Kinesense Enterprise Solution ) with AGX, Kinesense release figures relating to the savings produced by some of the UK Police Forces. KES provides automatic search technology and template based workflows so non-technical staff can easily process and report on CCTV footage. With one force reporting it has saved 20,000 hours of Police time in a single year ( that's over 380 hours per week ), KES once again proves its worth to both the user and force budget holders.

October 2016 : Euro IAI conference at Interpol HQ sponsored by AGX.

AGX Holdings Ltd once again sponsored and attended the annual European Division of the International Association for Identification conference held at the Interpol Headquarters in Lyon, France. This was the second conference organised by the Euro IAI and was well attended by many European specialists and police forces, including some travelling from the USA. The event was deemed a great success by all with plenty of interest in the Everspry and FIBRE systems on offer from AGX.

September 2016 : AGX Install the very latest Garner NSA approved DDM unit.

The Garner DDM, Degauss and Destroy Mobility Option, delivers mobility while satisfying the NSA/CSS SDDM 9-12 recommendation to physically destroy hard drives after degaussing. The unit combines the NSA/CSS EPL-listed TS-1 Degausser, a PD-5 Hard Drive with Solid-State Memory Destroyer and the MIL-SPEC transport case. As the UK government reseller for Garner, AGX supplied and installed our first full DDM unit into a central London government organisation.

August 2016 : Boneco sign AGX to provide quality UK support.

July 2016 : Microtek launch the new A1 LS3800 Flatbed scanner in the UK.

AGX as the Microtek reseller in the UK, officially launched the LS-3800 large-format scanner which supports a flatbed scanning area up to 37" x 24" ( larger than DIN A1). This makes it ideal for scanning large delicate documents, such as historical items, works of art, architectural drawings, blueprints and colour posters etc. With dedicated software especially for the purpose, it is has also been developed to scan clothes and textiles. Having an optical resolution of 800 dpi it ensures superior quality and a two-way switchable LED light source enables it to perfectly scan subjects with either even or uneven surfaces.

May 2016 : AGX Datacopy Solutions.

The first installations of the new AGX DataCopy solutions are being installed at various sites at a major UK police force. AGX developed the DataCopy Disc System for forces requiring the copying of data from various media inputs to archival optical disc. The DCDS can copy data from Media cards to DVD or Blu-ray. The data if required can also be encrypted. The DCDS combine professional grade robotics with feature-rich software to provide the most complete solutions for automated evidence processing.

April 2016 : AGX 12CQ-2016 MOD Installation Completed.

Another all-inclusive installation of AGX 12CQ-2016(MW) GraphicStations has been completed at a key MOD establishment on Salisbury Plain. After a successful tender bid AGX have built, installed and configured 14 units on the secure site. These units running the latest design and video software, have been specifically purchased to replace older out of date workstations. Each GraphicStation is also configured to integrate seamlessly with the existing Print Room facilities whilst still complying with the special mandatory IT requirements of the MOD.

March 2016 : AGX attend Security and Policing 2016. Stand C16.

Following on from successful previous shows AGX are attending the 2016 Security and Policing Home Office Show at Farnborough again this year. Along with the Everspry Sole scanner , we will be displaying a Varese / Garner Hard Disk Degausser and Crusher as well as the latest Rimage advancements in their forensic range. February 2016 : Association of Fire Investigators Photo Competition

We were delighted to sponsor the United Kingdom Association of Fire Investigators photo competition . The standard was very high but well done to Overall winner Tuomas Pavla, Close Up and Forensic winner Alan Bell, Investigator at Work winner Jason Masterman and Fire Scene winner Simon Vallance. Each were awarded AGX photo vouchers that they can use to boost their camera equipment collection. Well done everyone.

January 2016 : Metropolitan Police buy Everspry

AGX , being the UK supplier for Everspry are pleased to announce that after a initial trail period, the Metropolitan Police have placed and order for 32 Everspry EverOS scanners. These "stand on" scanners are part of the next generation of shoeprint acquisition equipment and are designed for use in Custody suites or Forensic Departments. They provide an easy and convenient way to capture a suspect's outsole pattern, providing an input to a Forces shoeprint database.
